Trash to Treasure - Raising Awareness and Funds for The Afghanistan Trust

Sam Walton is raising funds for AT, by asking departing students to place items they leave behind with Sam's Team so money can be raised from their sale.

Sam Walton, Property Manager of Cosmopolitan Student Homes, along with the accommodation team at Stratford College are organising a charity event to help raise money for The Afghan Trust. The charity is close to Sam's heart, having lost a very good friend, Private Conrad James Lewis in Afghanistan in 2008. Conrad attended Stratford College along with another fallen soldier Private Joe Whittaker and both their deaths have affected many people from the College. Sam hopes by putting on this event to raise as much money as possible and increase awareness of The Afghan Trust and some of the amazing work they do.
