Casino Night Held at Lessingham Village Hall - Sat 9th April
A Casino Night was held at Lessingham Village Hall, home village to Andrew Bailey, 2
Para, on Saturday, 9th April in aid of the Afghanistan Trust.
Over 70 people attended and enjoyed a light supper of jacket spud and choice of
filling and betting on the roulette and blackjack tables. The seven people
with the highest amount of 'chips' at the end of the evening then fought it out
on the blackjack table. Each of the seven were given the same number of chips
to start and the person with the highest value when the cards ran out won the
cash prize.
A raffle was also held and donations were given from people who were unable to
attend but wished to support the cause. The total sum of £760 was made for the
Trust.
